
Yesterday I had an opportunity to meet with a sales person from resalite wrestling mats. We discussed the pros and cons of purchasing a resalite Lite Mat over a resalite classic foam mat. Both are great products and are very well respected. We decided that the Lite multiple section
38 x 38 wrestling mat fit the current needs best. The Lite mat takes up very little space and is easy to store. seeing as how storage space is limited this is a plus. With the purchase of this seconded mat we will save money in the long run in the past we have been forced to rent Uhaul Trucks in order to collect enough mats to host tournament and we have been forced to rush to get things set up prior to a home match and many late nights after matches moving mats from the gym back to the wrestling room. This will also be another practice surface for our middle school kids. In order to acquire this mat we must all rally to raise the entire amount. I have received a large donation from Inlet Medical and associate to get us started. I am currently accepting lump sum donations for any amount and we have a few fundraisers on tap in the upcoming months. We are having a yard sale this weekend may 12th in front of Socastee High to start then we will be raising money by selling Square foot sponsorships. I am expecting to launch that fundraiser by the end of the month. I think that this will raise a great portion of the mat. The sales rep has made this mat very affordable us and we need to take advantage of this special pricing. $6399.00 this price will not last we must order by Jun 15th. (plus $500 for shipping)

USA WRESTLING AT SOCASTEE
This Saturday Tough Time Wrestling Club/Socastee High School will be hosting a Feestyle Greco Wrestling tournament. We have received a lot of interest from schools I think it is going to be a great turn out. This is the last tournament on the Grand strand before the State Freestyle Tournament on May 19th at Hanahan High School so I encourage all area wrestlers to attend. You will need a USA wrestling card inorder to partisapate. You may purchase one in advance at THE MAT.COM or you may purchase one onsite for 30$.
The tournament will be held at Socastee High School all divisons will wrestled. Weigh-ins will be from 8:30am until 9:30 for all classes. The cost is $10 for one style or $15 for both we will wrestle Greco first and freestyle will follow. Weigh classes may be grouped to maximize mat time. UNC Pembroke Tar Heel Classic Details
Here is the TTW information on the UNC Tournament on April 13th -14th I have attached a few links that may have the answers to any questions I don t answer. You will have a few choices as to what you would like to do. If you want to wrestle both styles you will need to plan to travel Friday afternoon with weigh ins at 5:00 pm – 5:30pm. Wrestling starts at 7:00pm for all classes and divisions and will run until 10:30. Promptly at 10:30 they will stop all wrestling and continue if needed on sat morning. The only thing being wrestled on Friday is GRECO. Saturday morning at 8 am they will continue Greco until completed. The little guys will start Freestyle at 9 30am (Bantam Division). Then at 12:30 Freestyle will begin for Cadets and Juniors.
If you would like to only wrestle Freestyle you will need to plan to depart Saturday morning in enough time to make weigh ins a t 8:00 Bantam and 10:30 for Cadets and Juniors. Google maps has UNC Pembroke 1hr and 42 min away.
You must have a USA wrestling membership or card to wrestle.
Entry Fee 1 style 25$
Both Styles $45.00.
Open Division 10$ for one style 15$ for both.

If you do not have a ride and lodging, I have made arrangements for a rental and Reserved Roach motel rooms at the Knights Inn you travel expense will be as follows $100.00
